Anne Denny
Anne is Chief Executive of Bows and Arrows and has worked in childcare since 1994. Anne has a degree in Early Childhood Studies and achieved Early Years Professional Status in 1997. Anne started work at Bows and Arrows as a Nursery Manager at Wigwams Nursery and helped the company grow and develop into a reputable organisation with uncompromising standards. Anne is married with three children, two of whom attended Bows and Arrows nurseries.
Lisa Wright
Lisa is the Nursery Manager at Wigwams Nursery and commenced with Bows and Arrows in 2004 when Wigwams first opened. Lisa has worked in childcare since 1992 and has BA Degree in Early Years which was achieved in 2010 and she achieved Early Year Professional Status in 2011. Lisa is passionate about reflective practise and strives to ensure that the nursey is constantly improving, she has undertaken a week long intensive study programme in the world famous Reggio Emilio which inspires educators from all over the world. Lisa was awarded Educational Leader of the Year at Suffolk County Council Raising the Bar Awards on 2018 and is very proud to have 3 consecutive Outstanding Ofsted reports in a row. Lisa lives in Ipswich and enjoys spending her spare time traveling and socialising with her friends and family.
Lauren Bell
Lauren is the Nursery Manager of Wellington Nursery and has just under 10 years of experience working in childcare. Lauren graduated from University Campus Suffolk with a foundation degree in Early Years Practice. Lauren joined the company as a Senior Early Years Educator and has worked her way up to Nursery Manager. Lauren lives with her partner and dog and loves hosting family gatherings and games nights.
Stephanie Mattin-Moss
Steph is the Manager of Buttons & Bows Nursery. Steph has a degree in Early Childhood Studies and achieved Early Years Professional Status in 2012. Steph has worked in childcare since 2009 and has worked for Bows and Arrows for over 15 years. Steph started off in the company as a Nursery Assistant but quickly worked her way up to Nursery Manager where her first OFSTED visit received an outstanding grade. Steph was a finalist for Nursery Manager of the year at the Nursery world awards 2022. Steph is married and enjoys time with her many pets, walking the dog in the forest or at the beach and most importantly spending time with her family.
Heather Pearne
Heather is the Nursery Operations Manager and has worked in early years for over 15 years. Heather has a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Early Years Education and Early Years Teacher Status. Heather has worked in various positions within early years in Essex and London ranging from teacher, manager, developing early years software and being part of a startup nursery enterprise. These experiences have given Heather a desire to see quality early years practice that stimulates and develops children as well as having a passion for supporting staff teams to drive inspirational early years practice. Heather is married with a young family and (as a half Canadian) is an avid lover of being outdoors.
Michelle Dent
Michelle has worked in Early years for 17 years starting out as an apprentice and working her way up to Manager. She joined the Bows and Arrows group in 2021 as the nursery manager at our Little Learners and Forest Learners nurseries. Michelle is currently studying for her BA Hons in Early years and was lucky to be able to attend the prestigious Reggio Emilia study week last year. She is very passionate about outdoor learning and its impacts on wellbeing. In her spare time Michelle enjoys travelling and going for walks with her dog.
Christine Williamson
Christine is the Nursery Manager of The Nest Nursery and has worked within the Bows and Arrows group for 19 years. Christine has worked at 5 of the settings across her time, starting as an Early Years educator and working her way up to Nursery Manager. Christine has a Bachelor’s degree in Early Years and is a qualified Early Years Teacher. Christine lives with her husband and 2 children and loves spending time out for walks and with extended family.
Shannon Page
Shannon is the Manager of Ravenswood Nursery and has been part of the Bows and Arrows team since 2013. She began her career at a sister nursery as an Early Years Educator, steadily progressing through various roles and gaining over a decade of experience in the sector. Shannon holds a Foundation Degree in Early Years Practice and is a qualified Special Educational Needs and Disability Coordinator. With a deep passion for fostering positive outcomes for both children and families, Shannon is particularly dedicated to promoting outdoor learning and its significant benefits for children's development. Outside of work, she loves spending quality time with loved ones, travelling and creating lasting memories with her young family.
